As a forward-thinking company with a history dating back to 1909, we take responsibility. For people. For the environment. For our society. To us, sustainability is not just a trend, but rather an attitude reflected in our mission and values. Our concept of sustainability is consistently built upon the three pillars of: environmental, economic, and social responsibility. We operate in an industry that is not inherently sustainable. This makes it all the more important for us to drive change. We are not perfect, but we are committed. We want to make this world a little bit more beautiful and a little bit better through our spaces. Will you join us in taking responsibility for greater sustainability?
We invest not only in technology and innovation, but above all in knowledge and responsibility. We work with sustainable materials, rely on energy-efficient processes, and continuously improve our environmental footprint. The earlier we are involved as a partner in the planning of a project, the greater our impact. This is because smart, flexible design concepts save resources and significantly extend the lifespan of spaces and room solutions.
We take responsibility for people — both within and beyond our company. We create a respectful, motivating, and meaningful work environment for our employees, where everyone can fully develop their potential regardless of background, gender, age, or religion. At the same time, we embrace our social responsibility by training young people, collaborating with educational institutions, and participating in social projects and campaigns — such as sponsoring local sports clubs and assisting international projects in war-affected regions, such as those led by ART HELPS.
At Knoblauch, we don’t define economic success simply by financial indicators, but as the responsible design of our entire value chain. Sustainable growth means investing in long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees, while using resources responsibly—both in terms of people and materials. Our focus is not on short-term profit maximisation, but on long-term, balanced business practices that serve future generations.

We were able to implement a pioneering project with our client Globetrotter: Stores based on the Re:Think shopfitting concept. This circular approach involves using almost exclusively second-hand furniture.
Sustainability and social responsibility cannot be achieved alone. That is why we rely on strong partnerships with those who share our values and hold themselves to the same high standards of ethics, environmental awareness, and social commitment. Let’s work together and start making a difference!
