Where there’s planing, there’s chipping…and really good craftsmen are being trained! Sophie, Tammo and Dennis have just received their journeyman’s certificate – and are among the best graduates of their year. We are proud of these three talents. And now show us your journeyman’s pieces!
Oh lala, this piece of furniture by Dennis Wagner has it all: cocktail shakers, bar measures and various glasses can be stored in various drawers. The highlight of the cabinet in flat oak veneer is a two-tier bottle rondel. The curved shape of the body and the horizontal handle strips create the visual impression of a whisky or wine barrel. Pretty classy, isn’t it?
Nordic chic: clear lines and soaped silver fir give Sophie Schuder’s cradle a Scandi style. Mitred edges, rounded runners and a hidden drawer for baby stuff – this cradle has what it takes to become an heirloom. Incidentally, Sophie has named the cradle ‘Freya’ – after the Nordic goddess of fertility. A really beautiful piece, isn’t it?
Simple yet sophisticated: The sideboard from Tammo Jäger is made of core ash and coated Fenix panels. The rounded and edged handles, the dovetail joint and the bevelled feet are exciting details. Tammo has also built in a secret compartment that only opens with an additional magnet. A pretty cool piece of furniture, isn’t it?
