A new start, an idea, a design – and us and our team right in the middle of it all: In Abtwil near St. Gallen, the Hotel Säntispark became the Revier Hotel Säntispark within four months.
All public areas of the hotel were completely redesigned and extended. This is where we come into play, as the interior fit-out was realised entirely under our direction.
Whether in the lobby, the back office or the restaurant. ‘The look and feel of the hotel has completely changed in the style of the neighbourhood hotels,’ says our project manager Sophia Ziegler. New additions include co-working areas with soundproofed boxes and a spacious bar area.
Our expertise in project management and realisation has not only been applied to the public areas: we have also transformed 18 rooms on four floors into so-called Smart Studios. They offer space for families of up to four people, but are also ideal for business travellers planning a longer stay.
In short, this project provided the perfect stage for us to showcase our strengths in interior design – from the office to the catering to the hotel rooms.
One of the challenges was to optimise the specified design so that it would blend seamlessly into the existing ambience. ‘Together with our interdisciplinary design team, we invested a lot of time in sampling materials and furnishings in order to offer customers the best possible advice,’ reports Sales Manager Katja Scharnagel, who specialises in hospitality themes.
Take the bar area, for example, with its inviting seating in rich mustard yellow and vibrant coral red, a harmonious liaison of fabrics and colours. The centrepiece is the bar itself, a statement made of brass.
We love challenges – or as Sophia says: “It’s simply nicer to find solutions together than to simply implement what’s on paper. That’s why we used clearly reduced materials to get the best out of every area.” After all, the focus in all our projects is always on the extra mile – because we optimise every detail until good becomes special.
