More modern and future-proof. This is how the Austrian Raiffeisenbank am Hofsteig, with its branches in Schwarzach and Wolfurt in Vorarlberg, wants to present itself to its customers. A transformation task in an existing building? Just the thing for our designers and planners!

“Basically, all of our interior designs are about showing the identity of a company in the space,” explains Lucas, our Sales Manager and head of the Lustenau location, who oversaw the project. Raiffeisen banks stand for closeness and a regional connection, while at the same time being modern banks that look to the future. “This approachable identity, modernity and forward-looking nature of the bank is also reflected in the design,” says Lucas.

Foyer and counter area Schwarzach

The corporate identity of the Raiffeisenbank can be felt in the foyer and counter area of the Schwarzach branch, as we use the colors yellow, grey and black – the CI colors of the Raiffeisen banks. These colors have an activating and positive effect, have a recognition value for customers – and stand for humility before the history of the bank, i.e. for tradition. The foyer in Schwarzach is very open and spacious with a new bar counter. This makes the counter appear approachable and not distant.

Side rooms in Wolfurt

The adjoining rooms in Wolfurt, on the other hand, feature colors from the natural color palette – shades of blue, petrol, green and red. These colors of wallpaper, lighting, carpets, create a calm, safe feel-good atmosphere, e.g. for consultations. At the same time, they stand for modernity and a forward-looking approach. Each room has its own color palette.

With specially designed wallpaper showing places from the region, we create a regional connection that is deeply rooted in the identity of Raiffeisenbank. For example, there is a refurbished picture of the “Alter Schwanen” in Wolfurt, a former village inn. Or an alienated image of Rickenbach. The wallpaper is colored in the respective room color.

Banks of the future

We are constantly designing and building branches for various banks. Banks are an important social meeting place for local people, while at the same time the business areas of banks are changing towards digitalization. This, in turn, is also reflected in the interior design and fit-out of banks.
