Our long-standing client Marc O’Polo is expanding its footwear presence at the point of sale—and we’re right there with them! The Shoes shop-in-shop concept, developed in Markdorf, made its debut in March 2026 at the Hagemeyer fashion store in Minden. New: A dedicated space exclusively for the footwear segment.

We’ve already planned and built hundreds of shop-in-shop areas for the casual lifestyle brand from Stephanskirchen. But a space dedicated solely to shoes? That’s new! On 40 square meters on the third floor of the long-established Minden fashion store, Marc O’Polo showcases exclusively shoes.

Scandinavian Studios

A relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere that promotes well-being—that’s what defines the “Scandinavian Studio” concept, and that’s what the MOP brand identity stands for, originally developed by the Fitch Design Company and finalized by us. All stores and shop-in-shop spaces are based on this concept, including the one in Minden.

Bright, modern, natural materials, warm colors, minimalist forms, and a deliberate focus on the essentials—these are the core elements of the store design. A touch of Scandinavia, even at Hagemeyer in Minden.

Open merchandise display

With the Shoes shop-in-shop concept, the focus was on showcasing premium products while allowing customers to browse the space independently. To achieve this, we designed display cubes with a wood and stone finish that create a clean, premium look and feel, yet still allow for open product presentation and give customers the opportunity to find the right size on their own.

Stylish and comfortable seating is designed to make the shopping experience even more enjoyable. There are 50 different styles—and behind them, NOS programs for inventory planning.

Centerpiece: Cubes

The centerpiece of the Shoes shop-in-shop area is the variety of cube combinations that elevate the space to the premium segment. The concept is now set to be rolled out, and since the spaces will vary in size, there are different storefitting modules from KNOBLAUCH. The largest module also features an illuminated back wall that draws attention to the SiS area even from a distance.
