“Long live the little difference!” Dresden native Erich Kästner summed it up rather perfectly a long time ago, and the Motel One designers certainly followed his advice for the hotel at Palaisplatz. Individually furnished rooms, warm-hearted service staff and a lot of love for the small things – that’s what makes our little difference.
The theme of the hotel is the famous writer himself, whose portrait welcomes the guests at the reception desk. His pearls of wisdom decorate the bar in creative ways. Certainly worth a read! Shelves full of books and cosy Fritz Hansen armchairs beckon you to relax in our One Lounge and enjoy Erich Kästner’s imaginative world over a tasty drink.
The hotel is situated in the Innere Neustadt district, near the riverbank and the Japanese Palais. The historic city centre with the Frauenkirche, Zwinger and Semperoper is within easy reach, and you are just a stone’s throw away from nearby Albertplatz, where the fascinating Erich Kästner museum awaits.
