KnowBlauch - aight!

Recently we got a letter. Addressed to KnowBlauch. A funny way of writing of our company name Knoblauch ['kno:plaux].

KnowBlauch

The full company name Konrad Knoblauch GmbH shows that our company was founded by family Knoblauch, namely by Fidel Knoblauch in 1909. Followed by his son Hubert who was followed again from 1976 by his sun Konrad ("Konni") Knoblauch. Altough Konni died much too early in December 2005, we kept our company name Knoblauch. And we are still a "familiarly run" company headed by Jürgen Zahn.

Did you know that "Knoblauch" is the German word for "garlic" and that it developed form the historic terms Chlobilouh, Chlofalou and Cnufloch? And that it means splitted leek? Aha. Knoblauch - KnowBlauch - aight?
